The library aims to cultivate a vibrant community of readers and learners, empowering students with the skills and passion to become lifelong learners. Each day, students are offered resources to enhance their learning and foster a love for reading. As well as being open for class use during the school day, the library is also open for student use during recess and lunch. Exact times are communicated on Compass.
The library provides access to high quality, current resources which meet the social, cultural and academic needs and interests of students. Collections are developed to empower students by supporting academic growth, information literacy and a love of reading as they develop the skills of lifelong, independent learning and become responsible members of our community. English classes are timetabled into the library once a fortnight for structured reading, borrowing, returning and discussion of books with the librarian.
Through the library, students have access to digital resources, such as video content, eBooks and audiobooks.
